AECOM, Stability in Key Areas (SIKA) - Afghanistan

With a value of $60 million, the program was funded by USAID and implemented by AECOM. The project supported development activities in Afghanistan. As the construction manager of the program, I supervised a team of +50 project engineers, site supervisors, and quality control engineers.

v      Provided leadership in preparing a master project schedule utilizing Primavera P6 Project Enterprise Structure for over 200 small-scale sub-projects

v      Supervised and managed the initiation, design, and implementation of over 200 small-scale infrastructure projects

Technologists, inc. (Ti), headquartered in Washington DC, is an international engineering, construction, and management consulting company. In Afghanistan, the company served as the contractor of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. In my role as the construction manager of Afghanistan National Police Training Center project, value of $100 million, I delivered the project on schedule, within the budget and per the specifications.

v      Upon the completion of the project, I received an appreciation certificate from USACE for the successful completion of the project

v      Provided leadership for use of available resources per the estimates

v      Provided leadership in developing and maintaining the project schedule using Primavera P6, and ensured all the payment applications are processed per the reported progress

For almost four years, I supported the US Army Corps of Engineers projects as a project scheduler. Utilizing Primavera P6, I applied my experiential knowledge to the following tasks;

v      Collected project schedule information in order to maintain accurate project schedules, provided detailed analysis of the project schedule to assess real and/or estimated impacts to the project timeline
